The Dover Shade Tree Commission is proud to announce that the Town of Dover has once again been recognized as a 2025 Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation.

This designation reflects Dover’s ongoing commitment to maintaining and supporting its urban tree canopy through planning, care, and community engagement.

Trees play an important role in our community - they help improve air quality, reduce stormwater runoff, provide shade, and enhance the overall look and feel of our town.

This recognition is made possible through the continued efforts of the Shade Tree Commission, along with the support of our local officials and community members.

We are proud to continue being recognized as a Tree City USA community and look forward to building on these efforts in the years ahead.
