The CARE Resource Guide (Counting on Available Resources of Excellence) is a guide that has been created to assist families.

It provides a comprehensive list of affordable resources that are available locally, in the county, and in some states. The guide includes a categorized contact list of organizations with brief information about the services they provide. This is to make it easier for families to research and access the resources they need. The guide is updated once a year.

We hope you find the guide helpful and useful. Additionally, we invite local nonprofit organizations that are not listed but provide services to families in the categories listed in the guide to reach out to us. You can contact the Recreation, Arts, and Cultural Affairs Department at extension 1169 or send an email to mespada@dover.nj.us to be added to the list.

Please note that this guide is specifically for agencies, mostly nonprofits, that provide resources to strengthen/support and advocate for our families.

If you need confidential and free assistance in finding the best program and referral for your needs, please dial 2-1-1.

In the event of an emergency, please dial 9-1-1. For non-emergency calls, please contact our Police Department at 973-366-2200 Ext.4001.
