The Finance Department maintains records of all financial transactions and is responsible for the Town's revenues and disbursements. 

The CMFO oversees the various finance functions and is responsible for correct financial reporting, purchasing/accounts payable, debt service, grant activity, payroll and benefits, fixed assets, etc. 

Independent auditors annually examine the town's budget, accounting records, and fiscal operations.
