The Finance Department maintains records of all financial transactions and is responsible for the Town's revenues and disbursements. 

The CMFO oversees the various finance functions and is responsible for correct financial reporting, purchasing/accounts payable, debt service, grant activity, payroll and benefits, fixed assets etc. 

The Town's budget, accounting records and fiscal operations are examined each year by independent auditors.
