Pay your Traffic Tickets Online (click here)
Many parking and traffic summonses may be paid at njmcdirect.com, a payment site maintained by the New Jersey municipal Courts. If you have a Visa or Master Card credit/debit card, use this fast, secure and convenient way to take care of your traffic tickets online. A processing fee, based on the penalty amount of the ticket, will be added to the transaction. Note: Only tickets that are issued for a payable violation which do not require a court appearance and traffic cases that have been disposed in court with a time payment can be paid through njmcdirect.com.
Media
Mediation is a confidential, structured, non-adversarial process that allows a neutral third party to assist disputing parties in reaching a mutually acceptable solution. The mediation process can be a less expense, informal, and more meaningful alternative than the traditional trial process. This is because of the efforts of trained volunteers and the resolution being decided by the participants. The court will refer appropriate cases to mediation.

Informing Court Users that “The Work of the Courts Continues” – Animated Video
Thanks to your efforts, the New Jersey courts have continued to get things done during the COVID-19 pandemic, relying on telephone and video technology to work remotely rather than in the courthouse.
We need to make sure that New Jerseyans in need of court services are aware that we are available to provide those services. We therefore created a two-minute whiteboard animation video that communicates a clear message that is especially important during this ongoing crisis: The New Jersey courts continue to work and to provide services to the public even though the courthouses are closed.
You can watch the video, “The Work of the Courts Continues,” on YouTube. This video is part of our coordinated outreach to consumers of court services. In addition to sharing the video internally and posting it on our Internet webpage, we will be distributing it to community partners to share with their clients. You should feel free to share the video with individuals or groups in your community who may be in need of legal services.
Our court system exists to serve the public. We can fulfill that mission only if those who need our services know that the courts are ready to provide those services, even while the doors of the courthouse are closed.
Thank you for doing your part to keep our courts functioning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please stay safe.
