SEASONAL EMPLOYEE

DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS

The Town of Dover has an immediate opening for 3 Part Time Seasonal Employees for the Department of Public Works to perform various types of manual and unskilled laboring work and may drive a truck in connection with lawn maintenance; does other related duties as required.  Each position will last a duration of 6 months during the dates of May 1st, 2026 to December 31st, 2026.  Salary range is $20 - $25 per hour. 

EXAMPLES OF WORK

Loads, lifts, and moves supplies, furniture, and equipment. Digs trenches and does manual grading.  Cleans incinerators. Collects rubbish and other refuse. Cuts grass. Trims hedges. Waters lawns, flowers, and vegetable beds. Loads and unloads trucks. Shovels snow. Whitewashes walls. Shovels gravel and sand.  Mixes cement and mortar. Places forms used in concrete work.  Cuts down trees.  Performs various other duties as requested.
