Dover Milling and Paving Project Scheduled for 5/12/20
Please be advised that on or about __May 12, 2020___ the Town of Dover will be milling and paving Third Street, Fourth Street, Fifth Street and Penn Avenue from S. Morris Street to Kensington Ave.
This work will take a total of approximately 4 days to complete. The work will take place from approximately 7am – 5pm each day. You will be able to park on these streets overnight. Please have all vehicles off of the posted roadway(s) by 7am.
During the milling operation limited vehicular access will be granted however, during the paving of the roadways no cars will be allowed to drive on the new road(s) until it is opened back up at the end of the work day. We know that this will be an inconvenience to all but it will also be a big improvement to the area for years to come.
The Town of Dover has made arrangements with our garbage hauler to collect garbage early during this work. Therefore, all residents in this area should have their garbage placed out for collection by 6am the day of collection. There will be 3 police officers on duty during this work, if you have any issues regarding access please speak to the police officers that will be on traffic control duty.
If you have any questions regarding this project you may call Bill Isselin at the Town of Dover Engineering Department (973-366-2200 ext. 2152) or wait until our workers arrive on-site. I would like to thank you for your anticipated cooperation regarding this matter.
