Mayor James P. Dodd is organizing a team to participate in the Relay for Life of Central Morris County on Saturday, June 6th from 4:00pm through Sunday, June 7th at 6:00am at the County College of Morris, 214 Center Grove Rd., Randolph, NJ to help battle cancer and to raise funds for the American Cancer Society At Relay For Life events, communities come together to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against this disease. The funds raised truly make a difference in the fight against cancer by supporting education and prevention efforts, funding research and providing free information and services for people with cancer. Relay for Life is an organized overnight community event and teams camp around a track and take turns walking or running around a track for up to 24 hours because cancer never sleeps. The Town of Dover is one of seven united communities included in the Relay for Life of Central Morris County that will be participating in this event.
